Maryann has over 26 years of dental care management experience, which has included the development, production, marketing and sales of a state-of-the-art dental recordkeeping system. She has also managed a state association peer review system which involved coordinating 27 review committees, and has established collaborative relationships between entities specially formed to develop and market dental benefit plans and promote public dental health initiatives. Maryann wrote and carried to fruition a number of business plans for newly-established companies. For a number of years, she has marketed to and assisted employers in establishing direct reimbursement self-funded dental benefit plans for their employees. Maryann’s experience includes a wide range of operational activities. She has helped dental practices ensure their long-term viability by providing marketing assistance; claims processing information; coding clarification; managed care contracting; communication techniques with insurance companies, patients and staff; dental Medicaid regulations; and insurance statutes as they relate to dental plans and provider responsibilities. She has a strong background in organizing projects and conducting training seminars on achieving a productive and financially successful dental practice.
